GLOBAL WARMING SCAM: ALTERNATIVES & DISTRACTIONS

Ever since the announcement of the Kyoto Protocol ten years ago (Dec.11,1997), Environmentalists have created a new bogus issue for politicians like Al Gore and his Democratic Party followers. The Liberals, who have the attention of a huge segment of the American population -- most all of them uneducated -- have succeeded in bringing into the political environment other issues that have stirred up the gullible and naive to the detriment of a clean, more peaceful atmosphere. Such turmoil is known as Rabble Rousing!

Stem Cell Research is a recent newcomer to this madness, for example. Abortion is a much older bogus issue that should never have become a political football. Unscrupulous rabble rousers have done much harm to our Nation as a result of these problems that neither they nor most Americans can understand or ever solve.

Bringing such complex scientific/medical issues into the politics of a country is demagoguery in its most subtle form! That certain characters in politics would exploit such controversial issues so as to gain votes is no surprise. Thanks to the Election of 2006, the Democrats and all their headline grabbers are back in town and with the recent release of the IPCC's summary on Global Warming it appears that a little more thinking has been applied to the ridiculous mandatory projections from the first meeting in Kyoto!

Suffice to say, as a scientist with many years in the field of weather and climate, I witnessed Kyoto with disappointment when I saw and heard the comments of the U.S. President and Vice President, neither man has ever studied or passed any significant courses or tests on the subject of climatology. Obviously, they were attracted to the subject by the potential political  energy Global Warming could generate! Typical political opportunism at work!

Anyone interested in his comments ten years ago would do well to read his three part series on Global Warming. As for my reaction to the recent release by the UNO's IPCC, I believe -- given enough time, and assuming that the subject not be spun out of control in the USA MEDIA, we may see this issue brought into the realm of intelligent discussion and a debate of facts versus what reasonable responses are apropos. That assumes a great deal, unfortunately!

There is one small point I would like to add to the picture first displayed at Kyoto. It relates to the narrowness with which proponents of Kyoto Protocol view this alleged problem. Specifically, I refer to the primary focus on carbon dioxide alone. Carbon Dioxide is only half the story because it is inexorably tied to the cyclical regeneration of Oxygen. Climate is not solely influenced by a build-up of so-called Greenhouse Gases! It is more sensitive to the relationship to CO₂ to O₂. In other words, there is another way to bring our climate and related weather systems into a state of normalcy: by increasing the amount of oxygen! It took millions of years to make planet Earth a place where oxygen-breathing human beings could live!

How can we increase the amount of O₂? Where does it go if we make more and/or use less each day? My questions merely seek to direct your attention to the fact that when CO₂ is being created in such excessive quantities, a resultant reduction in O₂ occurs at the same time. It is the imbalance between the two that alters Natures tolerance for change which has an effect on those complex interactions that influence climate and weather plus all the interactions that occur between Earth, Sea and the Atmosphere that envelopes our planet!

Now, let's consider the impact on our Planet given the above hypothesis:

1. What is the Economic impact of this new equation? How shall we increase O₂ tonnage to bring back a more harmonious balance between O₂ and CO₂?

Answer: Simply stop using so much oxygen! Or increase the production of oxygen!

Question: How do we increase production of Oxygen?

Answer:

a. Stop killing the trees and plants that produce O₂ via the photosynthesis process! Stop building homes out of wood. Go to earth-based materials like we see in adobe construction. Pay those who own woodland to keep their forests healthy and producing good clean Oxygen! Charge every home builder $1,000,00 for every tree he kills when he clears land. Plant at least a million new hardy trees every year where they will thrive and grow to mature trees! This is in addition to the reforestation programs done by the lumber industry. Disrespect for our trees is where everyone has been guilty of harming the environment!

b. Initiate breathing exercises on TV every six hours and have mandatory breathing sessions for the entire Nation led by Mr. Gore and Carole Browner and their followers! Give awards to those who can reduce their breathing rate by at least 20%. It should be as entertaining as the Jerry Springer Show and it will be improving environmental conditions!

c. Abandon all forms of combustion engines and go to electric power from solar, wind and water power sources! High efficiency mechanical motivators using human power should be developed. Limit traffic in 1st Class cities to electric cars; expand rapid transit systems and stop commuting in private vehicles. Convert all diesel powered locomotives and vehicles to bio-fuels.

d. Stop all open flame burning that consumes O₂. Limit production of all materials that consume oxygen via oxidation (e.g., rust!).

So, my friends, as we ponder these options, we should remember the Bottom Line on this whole hoax about climate. Yes, it is reasonable to believe that we are doing something that may be harming the balance between the complex elements that affect our Planet's health. But to what extent is this harm accumulating? Nobody can truthfully say. Why? Because the Earth's interactions between the many factors that affect climate are in a constant process of getting warmer, then getter colder due to its vacillation between a Cycle called the Warm-to-Cold-to-Warm Migration.

Earth, with the help of our powerful Sun, has a number of self-correcting systems at work all the time. These cycles occur with cyclical rates of 100, 500. 1,000, 5000 and 10,000 year intervals! Our weather systems are cleansing the atmosphere and re-using our water in another very reliable way, called The Rain Cycle!  These Cycles can be represented as a sinusoidal occurrence with peaks of the various cycles occurring in a rather predictable fashion just as the Sunspot Cycle is occurring on a fairly regular basis.

Start thinking differently, for a change. If you are in a flood zone, MOVE to high ground. If you live twelve feet below sea level as in New Orleans, MOVE, for God's sake! Take charge of your Life and stop waiting for politicians to fix all your problems! 

At the present time, we are in a Self-Cleaning Phase called Flushing the Glaciers and cycling the Ice Cap in the Artic. It is a good thing, folks! Look at the coast lines of most continents and you will see the marshlands were the oceans once moved farther inland. They have been doing this for about fifty millions years. The shape of our coastlines tell the story! Large portions of North Carolina were under water 10,000 years ago during a Earth Warming epoch. This time, we human's are here and we believe it is the first time it happened! Relax! Mother Earth is a magnificent ecosystem of unbelievable recuperating and cleansing power!

So, to those of you who seek to control the minds of the Ignorant and Uneducated through political chicanery, I suggest the following: take a deep breath and relax! The small changes in climate today will never do harm to you, unless you happen to be living at the water's edge! And, you would have to be 400 years old and alive to suffer from it! If you are worried about the water rising, keep in mind the ice cap floats on top of the Arctic Ocean. Fill a pan with ice and water and watch it carefully. When all the ice is melted, not a drop will have spilled over the edge! That has been taught in the 8th grade Science class for a hundred years! If you are still not convinced, move away from the damn ocean Now, before the arctic tsunami strikes!

Scientists of all kinds are always begging the government for money (called Grants) to conduct expensive and sometimes dumb experiments. Unscrupulous scientists and politicians have found they can do things for each other but it takes money -- YOUR taxes or rather the taxes of people who pay Taxes! If you support such politicians, it is a safe bet that you don't pay much tax, if any! You should worry more about what Politicians are doing to you, your family and your Mind!

Above all, do not let the kooky politicians steal your vote by frightening you and your family!  If you keep believing these false prophets and deadbeat politicians, you will soon find out why they want your vote! They will do anything to keep you alarmed and insecure because that is when you feel you need them.
