INTRODUCTION

This has been prepared as a Reference document to be part of my discussion regarding how a "Grass Roots" Movement should be organized. It's first order of business, in my judgment, would be to organize nationally and address the most pressing issue our Nation faces: our fouled up Election/Voting System. It is the most hidden of all the our problems!

The history of how our political parties developed is not too well-known -- all of which means since no one has bothered to reform Politics in the USA, that most of the reasons for our Homeland's gradual decline have been kept hidden from the Citizens. During the last 65 years, nothing has been written for popular consumption because the two major political parties want to keep everything sub rosa! This reference is but part of a number of articles and references originally created by the Founder of this Web Journal, C. S. Franklyn Sr.

At this writing, the grass roots movement known as the TEA PARTY has today delivered a resounding victory for the True Patriots of the USA. I wish to offer this article as a further guidepost for the TEA PARTY to deliberately and carefully gather its growing influence into a intelligent battle cry for Reforms & New Ideas where they are urgently needed first: our haphazard, non-uniform election and voting system that has been controlled by the states for more than two hundred and 20 years!

HOW TO SELECT BETTER QUALIFIED CANDIDATES FOR PUBLIC OFFICE

In 1958, I presented myself as a Citizen interested in running for the Congressional seat from the 17th District of Pennsylvania! Our Congressman had died suddenly and a special election had to be held. When our section of the District did not produce any candidates, I was disappointed to see that our local Democrat and Republican groups had no interest or desire to place anyone's name to run for the vacancy. Our County had many Economic problems and we were slipping into higher and higher unemployment numbers, yet our local politicos did not want to compete with the large city to the East whose Central Labor Committee always dominated the district's elections!

Long story short, I finally told the Democratic Committee Chairwoman that if no one stepped forward, I wanted my name placed in the competition! It is from this most interesting experience that I have drawn much of my personal knowledge with real politics in north-central Pennsylvania where a Democrat had never been elected in a hundred years!

Today, the same area that had been a rock-ribbed Republican stronghold, everyone votes as a Democrat, having fallen in love with the Farm Programs begun by President Roosevelt! High Unemployment persists and no one has even tried to bring the flocks of Bald Eagles back to their once great ancestral home! Had I been elected the new Congressman I would have started a major makeover of the region into a unique tourist area where hunting, fishing and other activities that depend upon a beautiful wonderland of Nature exist -- although latent and hidden!

SPECIFICS

The Tea Party Movement has demonstrated it has some "get up and Go" and I hope it follows some of my strategies and tactics that have appeared here for the past several years. I am more convinced today that the TEA PARTY'S greatest service could be to take on the Political Extremists in both major parties by building its influence to a point that a Tea Party Endorsement becomes essential to winning  a public office -- including the election of the Dog Catcher!

There is one irritating problem that challenges us in that we have six distinctly different kinds of partisans! It is ridiculous to believe we can jam them all into just two major parties and hope that everyone feels as if their issues and views will be given a fair hearing!

The Tea Party seems to have filled a void that has existed ever since the end of World War II: namely, it provides an alternate resource for Voters to reach a decision on What is important and WHO can be trusted to carry out needed CHANGE! The only source of political debate has been Television and Radio (i.e. THE MEDIA) and when the Clinton FCC turned all the TV channels over to Hollywood Studios and Jewish Consortiums, TV outlets became propaganda machines -- ALL affiliated with Zionist Dreams for Israel and solidly behind Jewish-held businesses who dominate the Retail & Import industries!

To select suitable candidates for public office, I believe, the following actions must be taken by the TEA Party:

1.  Organize an Executive Committee Subcommittee to search for and interview prospective candidates and put them through a thorough review as to Why they seek office, What are their credentials and achievements (i.e. their track record), etc. Then in a professional setting before closed-circuit TV camera's observe how well they present themselves! In a sense this will seem like a beauty contest but it is the beauty of their thoughts, skills, voice and ideas that we want to SEE and HEAR!! Three candidates much like Win, Place and Show will be discovered. This phase will include the candidate's spouse and children because our Citizens think of our public servants as if they are  part of our larger American family! (Not until I declared for the Congressional seat did my wife ever express her intent to NOT participate in my campaign or, in fact, any activity connected with my professional or business career!) It was a shock to learn this after 12 years of marriage! 

2. Politics in the USA is the most expensive exercise of Freedom & Government in the World. If every member is not willing to contribute $50 to $100 annually for an Operating Budget, you might as well forget the whole Project! The reason the Jews have been able to control The Congress is because they can raise millions of dollars better than anybody else! They used to raise money for Israel Relief, but after Carter's Camp David Accords, Congress established and annual foreign aid package of $3 Billion for Israel and $2 Billion for Egypt. This gave the U.S. Jews millions of dollars to begin to undermine the politics and culture of the USA!

3.  Immediately upon startup, another Subcommittee must begin to establish themselves as an official Lobby in Washington and in every state capitol! Symbolically, this move will emphasize in a dramatic way that We, the People, want no less attention paid to our Views & Goals than the Congress pays to "special interest" Lobbyists who swarm all over  & inside The Beltway! Currently, incumbents avoid the Citizen's complaints except when a national election comes up! A properly operated Lobby can be the equivalent of hanging a hornet's nest outside a Congress members door!

What will your FIRST OBJECTIVE be as a Lobby? It will be to overhaul the entire ELECTION and VOTING SYSTEM by establishing a uniform system throughout the USA. Even the recent changes permitting more and more mail-in ballots is fraught with all sorts of scams and fraud which must be stopped immediately if not sooner!! Absentee ballots, properly verified, should be used by those who legitimately are absent or are physically incapable of going to a polling place!

4. Another Subcommittee will begin to draft a list of Changes Made and or Tolerated that are Unacceptable to the basic goals of this Movement! Examples:

     a. Clarify and establish Referenda wording to determine The People's Consensus regarding issues that have been used to divide us and weaken our resolve. Examples: Same-sex Marriage; reading Scripture before the opening of Public School each morning). These items will begin an effort to dispense with such issues that have been used by certain factions to destabilize and undermine basic premises and beliefs essential to maintain Cohesion and Solidarity within our Society and Culture. Anything that has the potential to disunite us should be suspect!

      b. Establish an Day-to-Day U.S. CONSTITUTION WATCH by members with suitable credentials in American and Modern History.

The activities above  will  signal the critical startup phase of a serious Grass Roots Movement. Timeline: Review results and provide an Executive Report every 3-5 years to be released after the President's State of the Union address to the Congress!

CLOSING

The above agenda calls for the selection of People who are Patriots, whose past activities qualify them as True Believers in this Republic and its Constitution. Beware of foreign infiltrators who will seek to co-opt your Mission and steal your Initiative and Determination to make clear that this Country is a Republic with certain clearly stated limitations. We are NOT A DEMOCRACY as the foreigners in Washington would have you believe!

As always, I respectfully offer the above thoughts to the Leaders and Members of the TEA PARTY ORGANIZATION (TEPO) with this simple benediction: "The Task will not be easy, however, establish a firm commitment within your Organization, then move forward relentlessly, putting your Agenda before all those who Love this country and our Homeland!"
